We find that most of our patients really enjoy smoothies because they are quick and easy to make and pack a huge amount of vitamins, minerals and other essential nutrients that your body needs. These smoothies are especially good for breakfast because they will satisfy your hunger, provide your brain and body with the fuel that it needs to function for your day.
And most of our weight loss patients tell us that if they have one of these delicious smoothies for breakfast first thing in the morning that their appetite is suppressed for most of the day. And we know that having a good healthy nutritious breakfast with the proper amount of proteins, carbohydrates and fats will prevent you from getting hungry late at night.
So here are a few delicious recipes for weight loss smoothie’s. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Tropical Slam Smoothie Low Carb Recipe
- 1 cup of plain nonfat yogurt
- 1/2 cup of sugar free almond milk or coconut milk
- 1/8 teaspoon of pink grapefruit sugar-free drink powder mix
- 1/8 teaspoon of sugar free lemonade mix
Combine all of these ingredients into a blender and blend until nice and smooth.
Lime Melon Cooler Low Carb Recipe
- 1 cup of plain nonfat yogurt
- 1/2 cup of sugar free almond milk or coconut milk
- 1/2 cup of honeydew melon chunks frozen
- 1/2 teaspoon of lemon – lime sugar-free drink powder mix
- Optional : a Pinch to 1/2 teaspoon of Guar gum or xanthan gum
Combine all of these ingredients into a blender and blend until nice and smooth.
Sun Kissed Peach Smoothie Recipe
- 1 cup of plain nonfat yogurt
- 1/2 cup of sugar free almond milk or coconut milk
- 1/2 cup of sliced frozen peaches
- 1/2 teaspoon of orange sugar-free drink powder mix
- Optional : a Pinch to 1/2 teaspoon of Guar gum or xanthan gum
Combine everything into a blender and blend away and enjoy.
Green Apple Smoothie
- 1 cup of plain nonfat yogurt
- 1/2 cup of sugar free almond milk or coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons of vanilla whey protein powder
- 2 tablespoons of green apple sugar-free syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until nice and smooth.
Melon Smoothie
- 1 cup of plain nonfat yogurt
- 1/2 cup of sugar free almond milk or coconut milk
- 1/2 cup of frozen cantaloupe chunks
- 2 tablespoons of sugar free watermelon syrup
- Optional : a Pinch to 1/2 teaspoon of Guar gum or xanthan gum
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until nice and smooth.
Vanilla with Cherries on Top Weight Loss Smoothie
- 1/2 cup of no sugar added vanilla ice cream
- 1 1/2 cups of sugar free almond milk or coconut milk
- 1/4 cup of candy sour cherries in water, drained
- 2 tablespoons of vanilla whey protein powder
- 1 tablespoon of sugar free Cherry syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Optional : a Pinch to 1/2 teaspoon of Guar gum or xanthan gum
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until nice and smooth.
Yogurt Raspberry and Strawberry Smoothie
- 1/4 cup of plain nonfat yogurt
- 1/2 cup of sugar free almond milk or coconut milk
- 1/2 cup of frozen raspberries
- 2 tablespoons of sugar free strawberry syrup
Combine all of these ingredients into a blender and blend away and enjoy.
Strawberry Kiwi Delight Weight Loss Smoothie
- 1 cup of plain nonfat yogurt
- 1/2 cup of kiwi strawberry diet soda
- one half kiwifruit peeled
- five medium frozen strawberries
